It was not a catalog piece. It was a complete OEM project from scratch. Engineering on the Ground to get it right, one of our senior engineers flew two hours to the area of manufacture, then drove another hour to visit a specialty rubber factory. - Designing a custom mold for regulated bump height (5mm), spacing, and diameter
- Sourcing a special adhesive that will withstand extreme temperatures without separating
- Achieving stable ground fixation without using metal anchors
- Flexibility vs. weight balance to cope with high pedestrian traffic
